Our first out of town gig, I'm not counting Concord its only 30 min away. But Hickory is a whole hour away...THAT COUNTS!  We got all of our stuff packed up pretty soon.  As usual Eva is the smart one and rides up separately BUT the rest of us continue to smash ourselves into Lea's tiny Honda hybrid.  Thanks to the nice people at Drips for provided us with a yummy dinner.  The crowd was a little low but we still had fun.  We had a young hipster come up and dance with a tambourine while we played Porter Wagoner, well I guess it was dancing it looked more like he was Kung fu fighting.  There was one guy who sat and listened to almost our whole set...thanks man!  We sold some merch and made a new friend with one of the waitresses.  Wasn't a bad night at all.  Except for a few songs that we didn't really know yet...that's always fun!
